About Kristen
From the age of 10 years old, I have always had a passion for photography. It all started with my first photographs of the Olympians preparing for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, NY with my Kodak 110 camera. I was immediately hooked.
From there I have experienced the changes in cameras from film to digital to DSLR to mirrorless. Through it all, my love for photography is something that has remained unchanged and something I am excited to share with you and your family.
My journey into professional photography started when I was working as a Teacher's Assistant at a local preschool. The photographer we had contracted canceled the student Christmas photos. In a pinch, I decided to jump in and handle the photos myself. After 4 sessions (2 Christmas and 2 Spring & Graduations), I decided to follow a long-held dream of becoming a professional photographer.
My family and friends have been my biggest cheerleaders. They are always encouraging me and promoting my photography business.
My mission as a photographer is to provide my clients with the best photos possible while having fun during the session.
